The Bryant Heating and Cooling Company was started by Charles Bryant in 1904. They got their start manufacturing gas-fired boilers, but quickly adapted to manufacture all manners of heating and cooling equipment. Today, they are one of the top selling HVAC brands in the United States in both the residential and commercial sectors.
Many people don’t know, but Bryant is made by a parent company called United Technologies, who also make Day and Night as well as Payne HVAC systems They use the same internal components, including an Aspen coil that actually roll off of the same assembly line as Payne and Day and Night brands. Just as with Day & Night, they don’t have the same name-recognition as Carrier, but offer a premium product at an affordable price.
Bryant is a decent and reliable brand overall; good but not outstanding, and nothing particularly bad. Which is why is it important to make sure that your Bryant HVAC system in your home or business is working to it fullest capacity.
